Rules
Safety is the primary concern for all members and guests at Fleetwood Fish and Game Association. Following these guidelines ensures a secure and professional environment for everyone on the range.
General Conduct

Wear your membership cards when using the ranges.

Using ranges while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is forbidden.

Shooting while impaired will result in immediate termination of membership.

No vehicles are allowed on the range.
Firearm Handling
- Muzzles pointed down range only.
- Fingers off triggers until ready to fire.
- Open actions and guns down during cease-fire.
- Never fire a weapon in full automatic mode.
- No loading behind firing line.
- Use safe and legal firearms only.
Equipment & Targets
- Mandatory eye/ear protection.
- Paper targets only on boards.
- Do not place targets on posts or red backer supports.
- Do not fire at target supports.
- Remove all targets and dispose of all trash.
- No glass or ceramic targets.
- Place all trash in bins.
The following guidelines are specific to each range type.

Shotgun Range / Trap Shooting

Only handguns, rimfire rifles and muzzleloaders permitted.

No centerfire rifles permitted.

No shotguns permitted.

No braced-with-stocks pistols.

No shot shells – Use the shotgun patterning board.

Stop shooting if anyone is farming the land beyond the safety berm.

Not more than 3 rounds at one time.

No automatic firing.

Paper targets only

Keep range clean – remove casings, targets, and trash.

Foot access only from parking area – vehicles not permitted on wet ground

Hand throwing allowed but keep area clean
Shotgun Patterning Range

Only shotguns with shot shells - no slugs or single projectiles are permitted.
-
Supply your own patterning cardboard.
